Joker is an American English-language psychological thriller film that premiered at the 76th Venice International Film Festival on 31st August 2019 and released theatrically all over the United States on 4th October 2019. Joker Story
The story of Joker is set in the 1980s and follows Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix) who struggles to make money as a part-time clown while sharing a rundown apartment with his ailing mother (Frances Conroy). He also suffers from a medical disorder that causes him to break into laughter at uncomfortable and inappropriate times. Arthur dreams of becoming a stand-up comedian and attempts to write jokes in his diary. However, he lives in a city where a decent living is difficult to come by.
